Waldman Diamonds Complete LLC exhibits new jewelry line, "Reflexions" by Jem Braggik™ at February JCK Orlando show
January 2001
NEW YORK, USA - "It's a double take!" That's how jewelry and high fashion experts reacted after viewing the new "Reflexions" by Jem Braggik ™ jewelry line of diamond and gem engagement rings that was released in December 2000 and which can be viewed at the upcoming JCK show in Orlando, Florida, in early February.
The "double take" refers to Waldman Diamonds Complete's innovative (and patented) ring design in which two gemstones, a diamond and a colored gemstone, usually a sapphire, are set one on top of another in a solitaire-type ring.
"The ring's design was conceived with the engagement ring market in mind, " said Kenneth Friedman, Waldman Diamonds Complete's president, "and, now that the millennium has truly begun, we think this could very well be the engagement ring of this new century, 'the two stone ring.' "
"We found that the engagement ring market was missing out on a real exciting concept. While most people still believe the wedding ring should be a diamond ring, this is not necessarily the case for engagement rings," Friedman explained. "How many times has a jeweler heard a client say 'I'd love to get this sapphire ring, but I know she'd like to have a diamond?' Now, with our "Reflexions" by Jem Braggik ™ line they can have both."
Especially for engaged couples, WDC's two-stone ring seems to be a more appropriate symbol of togetherness than the simple solitaire diamond. "We're trying to influence the consumer to view their engagement rings differently and choose our product to express their love more completely." Friedman continued. "At the same time, we're creating a brand that reflects those emotions. Hence, our slogan for this new two-stone ring concept 'A reflection of two hearts.' "
The diamond top stones set in the platinum rings are round stones, weighing on average 0.50, 0.75 or 1.00 carats. The stones are available in two quality-ranges; in colors G-H, in the clarity range VS1-2; and in colors H-I, in the clarity range SI1-2. A diamond grading report from the Gemological Certification Laboratory (GCL) invariably accompanies the ring and the girdle of each top diamond is laser inscribed with a serial number. Retailers who choose to carry the brand are supplied with a full package of advertising and marketing materials that include posters, triple fold outs, specially designed ring boxes, and a counter top ad. |
