Waldman Diamonds Complete introduces 'Basics with a Twist' jewelry line May 2000 NEW YORK, USA - Waldman Diamonds Complete, the New York-based fine jewelry division of the international WDC Group, recently launched its Basics with a Twist diamond jewelry line. "Our designs are a variation on the basic or classic solitaire, hence the 'twist,' " explained Kenneth Friedman, the division's president. "They include pendants, earrings and solitaires, as well as three-stone rings-a much sought-after design concept these days." "The jewelry pieces included in the new line are set with diamonds ranging from 0.20 to 1.50 carats, in qualities of I-1 and up," Friedman added. "However, sometimes, when demand is there, we'll set I-2 and I-3 goods as well. Colors ranges from the K-J categories and up." WDC's diamond jewelry is available in 18 and 14-karat gold, as well as in platinum. In retail, WDC's jewelry is positioned in the mid and higher price-range categories. "While we're not the only company that produces diamond jewelry, we are somewhat unique in our approach to the jewelry business." Friedman stated. "This is because we're in the unusual but advantageous position of being able to supply our jewelry division with diamonds from the company's own factories. We choose our diamonds very carefully. Our clients know us not only as a trusted source, but as a company which can consistently deliver a quality product."
